本論文探討台灣中小企業的成長與挑戰，以台灣一傳統產業手工具製造商，手動打釘槍業者作為例子。透過研究分析發現，台灣傳統產業普遍面臨利潤愈來愈薄及人才缺乏的狀況。若希望達到下一階段的成長，本研究先從產業分析來探討同業之間的成長路徑，再佐以質性訪談手法融入不同職位者的觀點，從總經理、行銷經理、生產管理經理一直到業務，全視角探究企業組織的成長與挑戰最後以企業成長理論給予產品多角化以及人才培養的建議。
