人在睡眠中都會作夢，每個人都有作夢的經驗，一個人一生大約有三分之一的時間在睡覺，估計有五分之一的時間在做夢，人的夢境內容有對日常生活的記憶、對未來的希望、有時更出現許多不可思議的情境。從一神信仰角度來看夢常被視為上帝的語言，夢是神諭，夢是天啟，近期很多研究古典夢學的西方學者認為伊斯蘭教是最能代表天啟的宗教，由於目前台灣尚未有人將伊斯蘭經典內的對夢的概念作整理介紹，本文主要著重在對伊斯蘭釋夢觀念的研究，從《古蘭經》和聖訓尋求根據，以伊斯蘭宗教的觀點為立場，整理介紹屬於伊斯蘭夢與睡眠的宗教意涵。並透過早期許多蘇非哲學家如Al-Ghazali、Ibn Arabi 等對夢的詮釋來探尋其中蘇非對夢經驗的超越與密契的部分，伊斯蘭對夢的詮釋似乎也對應了現代心理學家的部分夢理論，因此文中將說明對照伊斯蘭的夢概念與現代心理學夢理論的相應部份。

This paper primarily focuses on the study of Islamic concepts of dream interpretation. It seeks foundations in the Qur’an and Hadith, and, from the perspective of Islamic belief, organizes and presents the religious significance of dreams and sleep in Islam. Furthermore, it explores the transcendent and mystical dimensions of dream experience in Sufi thought through interpretations by early Sufi philosophers such as Al-Ghazali and Ibn Arabi. Islamic interpretations of dreams also appear to correspond in part with modern psychological theories of dreaming; therefore, this paper will examine the points of correspondence between Islamic concepts of dreams and modern psychological dream theories.
