With the advent of global pandemic from COVID-19, Taiwan experienced a population decline for the first time as the nations has recorded more deaths than births in the first six months of the year 2020. The business model was created to respond to the anticipated super-aged society in Taiwan and align to the policy of long-term care systems under government’s guidance. We’re not trying to avoid the disease and illness nor offering the day caring institutions like beadhouse and nursing home. Instead, the goal is to prolong the healthy lifestyle and their productivity after people retire from work and help them reconnect to the societies through designed activities, and reshape their habits and behaviors. The ultimate direction is to form a healthy community for seniors through a series of meal planning and collaborate with others to support themselves rather than rely on their children.
