本研究探討在城市重新開發壓力下,曼谷黃橋天后宮周邊社群的生活經驗與情感連結,並分析數位敘事策略如何支持文化遺產保存。研究採兩階段設計,結合質性研究與研究導向設計(Research-informed design)。透過對八位社群成員進行半結構式訪談,以反思性主題分析法歸納出四個核心主題:記憶與個人連結、對拆遷的感受與觀點、媒體發展構想,以及對未來的期望。 研究結果顯示,該廟宇不僅是宗教場所,更是承載集體記憶與世代傳承的重要空間——而此面向在泰國現行以紀念物為中心的遺產保護框架中尚未獲得充分認可。本研究亦發現,城市重新開發所引發的社會性遷置,可能在實體建築遭拆除之前即已中斷世代間的文化記憶傳遞,為非物質文化遺產研究提供新的理論貢獻。基於上述發現,本研究依據 Luther 多媒體開發模型建構雙語數位捲動敘事平台,整合歷史敘事、社群訪談與原創插畫。針對 162 位參與者的評估結果顯示,受訪者在內容理解、情感參與及介面設計方面均給予正面評價(內容 M = 4.01,使用者體驗 M = 4.11,滿分 5 分)。本研究證明,以社群為核心的數位敘事能有效記錄快速城市化脈絡下的活態文化遺產,同時指出在缺乏政策改革的情況下,數位記錄作為保存策略仍存在結構性限制。
This study examines the lived experiences and emotional connections of the community surrounding the Saphan Lueang Mazu Shrine in Bangkok amid urban redevelopment pressures and investigates how digital storytelling can support cultural heritage preservation. A two-phase methodology integrated qualitative research with a research-informed design process. Semi-structured interviews with eight community members were analyzed using reflexive thematic analysis, producing four themes: memory and personal connection, feelings toward demolition, ideas on media development, and future expectations. The findings reveal that the shrine functions as a space of collective memory and intergenerational transmission, dimensions unrecognized within Thailand's monument-centered heritage frameworks. Critically, the study finds that social displacement can disrupt intergenerational transmission of memory before any physical structure is demolished, contributing to the intangible heritage literature. Drawing on these insights, a bilingual (Thai–English) digital scrollytelling platform was developed following Luther's Multimedia Development Model, integrating historical narratives, community interviews, and original illustrations. User evaluation with 162 participants yielded positive responses across content understanding, emotional engagement, and UX/UI design (content: M = 4.01; UX/UI: M = 4.11, out of 5). The study demonstrates that community-centered digital storytelling can effectively document living cultural heritage in rapidly urbanizing contexts, while highlighting the structural limitations of digital documentation without broader policy reform.
