近年來多元、平等與共融原則 (Diversity, Equality and Inclusion, DEI) 在娛樂產業的角色設計與敘事結構中逐漸受到重視,對於性別、種族、性傾向、以及外貌的塑造展現出不同於傳統主流審美的角色群像。遊戲論壇中的討論常將多元再現視為「政治正確」(political correctness)的入侵,透過情緒化、戲謔化與誇飾的語言形成集體認同,並將反政治正確定位為維護「真正玩家文化」的行動。對於此現象,本研究以「遊戲社群中的政治正確論述」為核心,探討玩家如何在數位論壇的互動脈絡中,透過話語實踐建構群體邊界、形塑文化規範。本研究將進一步分析此類反政治正確論述的抵抗、攻擊與區隔策略。本研究採取批判言說分析(Critical Discourse Analysis, CDA)作為主要研究取徑,並以 Fairclough 所提出之語篇三層次架構(體裁、論述、風格)作為整體分析的概念性統整框架。透過此一架構,本文得以理解政治正確語言在玩家社群中的運作模式,揭示其如何以情緒化的論述動員並鞏固群體邊界,進一步探查遊戲文化中的論述、權力與實踐。本研究有助於理解當代娛樂文化中反對多元再現的立場與觀點,並為探討數位社群中的文化衝突與身份政治提供重要分析視角。
In recent years, the principles of Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DEI) have gained increasing prominence in the entertainment industry, reshaping character design and narrative representations beyond traditional mainstream aesthetics. Within gaming forums, diverse representation is frequently framed as an “invasion” of political correctness, while emotionalized, humorous, and exaggerated language is used to construct collective identification and to defend what is perceived as “authentic gamer culture.” Focusing on discourses of political correctness in gaming communities, this study examines how players
construct group boundaries and cultural norms through online discursive practices, and explores strategies of resistance, antagonism, and differentiation embedded in anti–political correctness discourse. Adopting Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), the study draws on Fairclough's three-dimensional framework of discourse, which comprises genre, discourse, and style, to analyze how such discourse operates and mobilizes affect within gamer communities. By situating players' discursive practices within broader cultural and social contexts, this research offers insight into resistance to diversity representation and contributes tounderstanding cultural conflict and identity politics in digital communities.
