  • 本研究主要目的在於探討高階經營團隊(Top Management Team)的成員組成背景是否會影響公司風險追求(Risk Taking)的程度,並且採用Hambrick & Mason (1984)所提出之高層理論的觀點,將高階經營團隊視為組織的反射鏡,進而觀察高階經營團隊的組成背景(教育程度、國外經驗、專業異質性)與策略行為之間的關係。有鑒於過去的研究較多著墨在高階經營團隊的組成背景與組織績效之間的關係,較少探討其與風險追求之間的關係,故本研究將重點探討高階經營團隊的組成背景與公司風險追求之間的關係。本研究的樣本以台灣的電子業為主,分別自公開資訊觀測站取得樣本公司的高階經營團隊背景資料以及台灣經濟新報取得風險追求(研發費用、併購費用、資本支出)的衡量指標。研究發現教育程度與風險追求之間存在顯著性的關係,當公司的碩博士生人數佔高階經營團隊的比例越高,公司風險追求的程度也會越高,而國外經驗亦得出相同的結果,惟專業異質性的部分並未存在顯著性的關係。
