本研究主要目的在探討會心團體經驗對我國大學生自我實現的影響。大學一年級男生24名,女生23名隨機分為五組,與四組團體催化員(每組2名)隨機分派至所羅門六組實驗設計中。自變項是會心團體(結構性會心團體、無結構性會心團體和控制組),依變項是受試者自我實現的表現情形。有三組受試者隨機接受個人取向量表前測,實驗組經歷會心團體每週三小時,合計七週21小時,控制組則無任何處理。所有受試者均接受後測。個人取向量表包括十二個量表分數:高時間能力、內在導向、自我實現價值、存在性、感覺反應、自發性、自我尊重、自我接受、性善、超統性、攻擊的接納和親密交往。以N不相等二因子(2×3)變異數分析處理各組的後測分數。結果發現結構性會心團體、無結構性會心團體和控制組三者之間在自我實現的十二個層面上均未達差異的顯著性。此外,本研究支持個人取向量表對自我實現的十二個層面均不會產生測驗敏感效果。
