本論文主要在探討鑑定模擬模式之問題，提出數種可行的統計方法，用以檢定模擬模式之適合度(Goodness of Fit )，並以判定分析(Decision Analysis )討論對模擬模式之認定。全文共分為五章，首章是緒論，說明本人研究此一問題之動機、目的、方法與範圍，並簡要敘述本論文之架構及各章節之安排。

第二章論及有關鑑定模擬模式之問題，包括討論有關鑑定之一般論點、多階段鑑定，以及統計觀念之應用和對模擬模式之分析。第三章專門探討模擬模式之適合度檢定(Tests of Goodness of Fit)，包括卡方檢定(Chi-Square Test )、梅恩-懷特尼檢定( Mann-Whitney Test)、變異數分析(Analysis of Variance )、泰爾不等係數(Theil's Inequality Coefficient)之指標等方法，並比較各方法之優缺點。第四章以判定分析選擇最適( Optimal )檢定水準，並討論對模擬模式之認定。第五章結論。
