  • A total of 4 new species, 8 newly recorded species, 6 species with alate
    forms and 19 species of sexual forms, including 8 species with both alate
    males and wincless oviparous females, 3 species of wingless oviparous
    females and 8 species of alate males, were discovered and described.
    This amounts to a new record of 269 species belonging to the Aphididae
    found in Taiwan. In addition, errors in Dr. R. Takahashi's and Mr. C. C.
    tao's studies were corrected and revised.
    1. The 4 species nely discovered in Taiwan were Subsaltusaphis taoi n.
    sp., Takecallis takahashii n. sp., Neotoxoptera sungkangensis n. sp., and
    Toxoptera hsui n. sp..
    2. The 8 newly recorded species were Periphyllus koelreuteriae (Takahashi)
    , Tuberculatus capitatus (Essing & Kuwana), Toxoptera schlingeri Tao,
    Myzus dycei Carver, Myzus mumecola (Matsumura), Tubercocephalus sasakii
    (Matsumura), Sitobion rosaeiformis (Das) and Pemphigus betae Doane.
    3. Alate forms were newly found in 6 species in Taiwan. They were
    Tuberolachnus nigripes (takahashi), Akkaia taiwana takahashi, Myzus
    formosanus Taxahashi, Myzus stellariae (Strand), Myzakkaia nittakaensis
    (takahashi) and Aulacorthum (Neomyzus) circumflexum (Buckton).
    4. The 8 species with both alate male and wingless oviparous females were
    shivaphis celti Das, Sarucallis kahawaluokalani (Kirkaldy), Tuberculatus
    capitatus (Essing & Kuwana), Hyalopterus pruni (Geoffroy), Aphis
    craccivora Koch, Myzus persidae (Sulzer), Myzus varians Davidson and
    Sitobion miscanthi (Takahashi). Of which Sarucallis, Hyalopterus and
    Myzus laid their eggs on the winter buds and twig cracks or broken
    vestiges of fallen leaves. The oviposition sites of the rest 4 species
    are still unknown.
    5. The 3 species with oviparous females were Schoutedenia viridis (van
    der Goot), Neophyllaphis podocarpi Takahashi and Takecallis takahashii
    Hsu.
    6. The 8 species with alate males were Rhopalosiphum maidis (Fitch),
    rhopalosiphum nymphaeae (Linnaeus), Brachycaudus helichrysi (Kaltenbach),
    Hayhurstica atriplicis (Linnaeus), Semiaphis heraclei (Takahashi),
    Cavariella araliae Takahashi, Hysteroneura setariae (Thomas) and
    Tuberocephalus sasakii ((Matsumura). The males were all winged while the
    oviparous females except Neophyllaphis podocarpi Takahashi were wingless.
    7.Schoutedenia viridis van der Goot, Sarucallis kahawaluokalani (Kirkady),
    Shivaphis celti Das, Neophyllaphis podocarpi Takahashi, Takecallis
    takahashii Hsu, Tuberculatus capitatus (Essing & Kuwana) and Sitobion
    miscanthi (Takahashi) are autoecous species while Hyalopterus pruni
    (Geoffroy), Aphis craccivora Kock, Myzus persicae (Sulzer) and Myzus
    varians Davidson are heteroecous species.
    8. Melanaphis formosanus (Takahashi), Ovatus malisuctus (Matsumura),
    Aulacorthum kuwanai (Takahashi), ALleurodaphis mikaniae Takahashi,
    Chaitoregma aderuensis (Takahashi), Ceratovacuna longifila (Takahashi),
    Aiceona osugii Takahashi and Tuberculatus querciformosanus (Takahashi) are
    good, distinct, independent species.
    9. Lachnus fici Takahashi was misidentified as Nippolachnus himalayaensis
    (van der Good), Astergopteryx taiwana Takahashi as A. vandermeermohri
    Hille ris Lambers, Pleotrichophorus chrysanthemi (Theobald) as P.
    glandulcsus Kaltenbach and Hyperomyzus carduellinus (Theobald) as H.
    lactucae (Linnaeus). Xenthoracaphis kashiwae (Uye), should be corrected
    as x. kashifoliae (Uye).
    10. Mollitrichosiphum lithocarpi (Takahashi), Phyllaphis fagi (Linnaeus)
    and Cerataphis formosana Takahashi should be added to the list and since
    Tuberocephalus sakurae ((Matsumura), Ceratovacuna hoffmanni Takahashi and
    Myzus yamatonis Miyazaki did not occur in Taiwan they should be deleted
    from the list.
    本文記述蚜蟲新種4種、新紀錄種8種、未發現於台灣之有性型個體13種及有翅型個體6種之形態特徵以及其生物學部分之資料;並將所提各屬分布於台灣之相近種類附以檢索表予以區別。同時,將前人在台灣記載之種類再予檢核, 提出若干訂正。
    1.新種4 種︰Takecallis takaha shii n. sp, Subsaltusaphis taoi n sp,Toxoptera hsui n. sp. 及Neotoxoptera sungkangensis n. sp。
    2.新紀錄種8 種︰Periphyllus koelreuteriae (Takahashi),Tubercuiatus capitatus (Essing & Kuwana),Toxoptera schlingeri Tao,Myzus dycei Carver,Myzus mumecola (Matsumura),Tuberocephalus sasakii (Matsumura) , Sitobion rosaeiformis (Das) 及Pemphigus betae Doane。
    3.台灣過去未記載之有翅型個體計6 種︰Tuberolachnus nigripes (takahashi),Akkaia taiwana Takahashi,Myzus formosanus Takahashi,Myzus stellariae (Strand),Myzakkaia niitakaensis (Takahashi)及Aulacorthum (Neomyzus) circumflexum (Buckton)。此外,又新發現Shivaphis celti Das 另一有翅個體 型。
    4.蚜蟲有性型個體已發現於台灣者共19種︰Schoutedenia riridis (van der Goot)
    (♂),Neophyllaphis podocarpi Takahashi (♂),Shivaphis celti Das (♀, ♂)
    ,Takecallis takahashii n. sp. (♂),Sarucallis kakhwaluokalani (Kirkaldy)
    (♀,♂),tuberculatus capitatus (Essing & Kuwana) (♀,♂),Cavariella
    araliae Takahashi (♂),Brachycaudus helichrysi (Kaltenbacvh) (♂),
    Rhopalosiphm maidis (Fitch) (♂),Rhopalosiphum nymphaeae (Linnaeus)
    (♀,♂),Semiaphis heraclei (Takahashi) (♂),Hayhustia atriplicis
    (linnaeus) (♂),Hyalopterus pruni (Geoffroy) (♀,♂),Hysteroneura
    serariae (Thomas) (♂),Aphis craccivora Koch (♀,♂) Myzus persicae
    (Sulzer) (♀,♂),Myzus varians Davidson (♀,♂),Tuberocephalus sasakii
    (Matsumura) (♂)及Sitobion miscanthi (Takahashi) (♀,♂)。
    5.部分種類宜予補充說明或訂正
    下列各項為不同種,不予合併︰
    a.tuberolachnus nigripes (Takahashi)與Tsalignus (Gmerlin), 兩種均分布於台灣;
    b.Lachnus fici Takahashi與L. himalayensis van der Goot,均分布於台灣;
    c.Aiceona osugii Takahashi與A. actinodaphis Takahashi, 均分布於台灣;
    d.Melanaphis sacchari (Takahashi) 與M. formosanus (Takahashi)(=M.miscanthi(Takahashi)), 均分布於台灣。
    e.Pleotrichophorus chrysanthemi (Thebald) 與P. glandulosus (Kaltendach),前者才是分布於台灣之種類;
    f.Hyperomyzus carduellinus (Theobald) 與H. lactucae (Linnaeus),前者才是分布於台灣之種類;
    g.Ceratovacuna longifila (Takahashi)與C. japonica (Takahashi), 兩者均分布於台灣;
    h.Astegopteryx taiwana Takahashi與A. vandermeermohri Hille Ris Lambers ,前者才是分布於台灣之種類。
    え下列項目可能為不同種,以不合併為同種較適當
    a.Aulacorthum kuwanai (Takahashi) 與A. solani (Kaltenbach)可能為不同種,兩種均分布於台灣;
    b.Chaitoregma aderuensis (Takahashi)與C. tattakana (Takahashi),兩種均分布於台灣;
    c.Aleurodaphis mikaniae Takahashi 與A. blumeae van der Goot, 均分布於台灣。
    廖惠堂(1976)所描述之Takecallis arundinariae (Essing),非Essing原記述之arundinariae,另以新種Takecallis Takahashii n. sp.發表。
    陶家駒(Tao,1963b)以學名tuberculoides capitata (Essing & Kuwana)所描述發表之標本,既非Essing & Kuwana 原記述之種類,也非Takahashi (1921)所發表之Myzocallis querciformosanus Takahashi, 該標本宜續予澄清,並給予適當之學名,這些相近之種類目前均歸屬於tuberculatus屬中。
    過去紀錄分布於台灣(Tao,1969) 的Xenothoracaphis kashiwae (Uye)蚜蟲,其學名應更正為X. kashifoliae (Uye)。
    Tuberocephalus sakurae (Matsumura),Myzus yamatonis Miyazaki與Ceratovacuna hoffmanni Takahashi均不分布於台灣。
    Mollitrichosiphum lithocarpi (Takahashi),phyllaphis fagi (Linnaeus) = (P. fagifoliae Takahashi),Ovatus malisuctus (Matsumura)及Cerataphis formosana Takahashi 應增列為分布於台灣之蚜蟲種類。
    因此,分布於台灣之蚜蟲種類數,由陶家駒(1979)所列的246 種,至1980年增訂為269 種(見表一)。
