The thesis describes the business plan of my start-up school at Okinawa Japan in 2018. The school is called “Nihao Taiwan” which aims to support Okinawan students who want to go Taiwan for higher education. We plan to continue to support them after their passing the local entrance exam because the students might encounter possible challenges in their college life. How do we support the students through their entire journey? The school provides three core value propositions to students and their parents. First, we provide a high quality teaching of Chinese and Chinese cultural environment to the students. Second, after students have learned basic Chinese, we provide them the university tour in Taiwan in order for them to get real experience in Taiwan. Third, not only teaching and touring for them, we also support them after they pass the entrance exam, such as helping them to get ARC, mentoring them with some college life issues, or supporting them for their future career. The school offers whole package of education service to those who want to go and study in Taiwan and want to do business in the Chinese-speaking countries. This thesis encompasses the entire business plan, including sales forecast, marketing plan, and financial plan.
