This study examines how digital financial capability (DFC), financial advice seeking (FD), and financial anxiety (FX) influence the financial satisfaction (FS) of Vietnamese consumers, with e-wallet usage (EWU) serving as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative design and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze a sample of 312 active e-wallet users, the research confirms that DFC and FD significantly enhance both EWU and FS, while FX exerts a significant negative influence on both constructs. The findings demonstrate that e-wallet usage functions as a substantial partial mediator, which is a critical behavioral pathway that translates cognitive and psychological antecedents into perceived financial well-being through improved daily organization and control. Consequently, the study advocates for a strategic shift among fintech providers and regulators from merely prioritizing adoption scale to fostering safe, competent usage through the development of digital financial capabilities and a robust fraud-prevention framework.
