中小企業若追求規模的擴大，勢必會在內部資訊處理特性上發生一些變化

，為了維持在小規模時的資訊處理效率，企業必須在內部資訊處理作為上

進行一些調整，不過這些調整並非易事，若處理不當，反而造成公司競爭

力的喪失，因此，本研究著重於探討中小企業規模成長時，可能遭遇到的

內部資訊處理問題，以及必須要進行的調整。 本研究採用探索性研究

，首先進行相關文獻的探討，接著提出觀念架構，然後，進行實地以快速

成長中小企業為個案進行訪談研究，以探討中小企業規模成長時內部資訊

處理特性的改變。本研究發現中小企業企業規模擴大，所面臨的不確定性

與模糊性上升，因此會衍生出更多的資訊處理需要，包括對於資訊數量與

豐富性的資訊處理需要。為了要克服隨規模擴大的不確定性與模糊性，維

持組織資訊處理效能，因此中小企業在成長過程中，就必須增加其資訊處

理能力，包括：建立有形資訊資源與精簡的資訊處理機制，強化書面化資

訊處理方式的建立，對於企業資訊數量處理能力有增強作用，來克服因規

模擴大所帶來成員間任務相互依賴的不確定性。此外，中小企業隨規模擴

大，也必須建立更多無形資訊資源，以及豐富的資訊處理機制，來強化組

織以非書面化、口語、面對面傳播的資訊處理方式的建立，對企業處理資

訊豐富性的能力有增強作用，來克服因規模擴大所帶來的模糊性。最後，

本研究對中小企業的主要建議為：由企業內部資訊處理的觀點來看，中小

企業的成長並不是一個非常容易的過程，隨中小企業的成長，其必須建立

資訊資源以及資訊處理機制。這些資訊資源與資訊處理機制的建立需要長

時間以及高成本，因此，若中小企業成長的速度太快，資訊處理的各項措

施無法配合，就會造成成長時的困難。
