為瞭解家庭結構＜生親家庭、單親家庭及繼視家庭＞、父母管教方式類型＜專制權威、寬鬆放任、開明權威及忽視冷漠＞、子女滿意度與其行為表現（個人適應、社會適應、自尊、偏差行為與學業成就）的關係，以台北市國小五、六年級學童1290人（內含生親家庭462人，單親家庭623人，及繼親家庭205人）為研究對象，繼運用父母管教方式及滿意度量表、小學人格測驗、自我概念量表及偏差行為量表等研究工具，獲得所需資料，再以變異數分析，逐步迴歸分析，Hotelling 考驗，典型相關分析等方式，進行統計分析。結果發現：
1.來自不同家庭結構的子女，行為表現有顯著差異性。「生親家庭」子女的行為表現較優於來自「單親家庭」或「繼親家庭」者。
2.父母採用管教方式類型的不同，子女行為表現會有顯著差異性。行為表現最佳者，不論是父親、母親或父母兩人均常採用「開明權威」的管教方式。
3.在不同家庭結構中，母親或父母兩人採用管教方式的類型不同，子女的行為表現，會有顯著的差異性
4.來自不同「家庭結構」的女女，對自己生活的「家庭結構」感到「滿意」和程度，確實有顯著差異存在。來自「生親家庭」者，感到滿意的人數最多；而來自「單親」及「繼親家庭」孩童，感到「不滿意」及「無所謂」的人數較多。
5.父母採用「管教方式」類型的不同，子女感到滿意的程度有顯著差異存在。對父親管教方式，子女感到最滿意的為「開明權威」，而最不滿意，則為「忽視冷漠」；對母親管教方式或父母兩人同時考慮的情況下，較滿意的均為「開明權威」及「寬鬆放任」的方式，而較不滿意的，則為「忽視冷漠」，或「專制權威」方式。
6.在不同家庭結構中，父母採用管教方式類型的不同，子女感到滿意的程度有顯著差異性。唯較顯著者多在父親管教方式與父母兩人均考慮的情形下。在父親管教方式方面，不論家庭結構的不同，子女感到最滿意的為「開明權威」的管教方式，而感到最不滿意的，則為「忽視冷漠」的方式。至於在父母管教方式方面，不論在何種家庭結構中，子女感到最滿意的為父母均採用「開明權威」中為「不一致」的方式，其次則為「忽視冷漠」的方式，其次才為「不一致」的方式。
7.對家庭結構或父母管教方式感到滿意度不同的子女，其行為表現亦有顯著差異存在。「高滿意」的表現會較優於僅感到「低滿意」者。
8.不同家庭結構對子女行為的影響，會因子女對家庭結構感到滿意程度的不同，而有差異。
9.父母採用不同類型管教方式，對子女行為的影響，會因子女對該類型管教方式感到滿意程度的不同，而有差異。
10.在不同家庭結構中，父母採用類型管教方式，對子女行為的影響，會因子女對該類型管教方式感到滿意程度的不同，而有差異。唯較顯著的多存在於生親及單親家庭之中。
11.家庭結構，父母管教方式類型、及子女滿意度等變項，能有效預測子女的各項行為表現。唯預測力較高的為「個人適應」、「社會適應」及「偏差行為」的表現，而預測力較低的則為「自尊」行為表現。
12.整體家庭結構、父母管教方式類型、及子女滿意度等變項，能有效解釋子女的全部行為表現，解釋量佔總變異量的12.63%。
