  • Cloud service agents play a crucial role in digital transformation; however, the rapid growth of the cloud industry has intensified market competition among these agents. This study uses Company C, one of the earliest cloud service agents in Taiwan, as a case study to explore its growth path and future industry direction. This research combines four theories (Competitive Strategy Theory, Corporate Growth Theory, Path Dependence Theory, and Organizational Critical Activities), and conducts a comprehensive analysis from three aspects: strategy, organization, and path. Through case analysis and interviews, the findings support all three research propositions: 1) For a company to succeed, its organizational critical activities must change in response to adopted growth strategies; 2) After implementing growth strategies, a company must establish effective growth paths and overcome path dependence to enhance profit margins; 3) To strengthen a company‘s core competitive advantage in the agency market, different growth paths require corresponding adjustments to organizational critical activities. This study bridges a gap in previous literature on the interaction between "Organizational Critical Activities (OCA)" and "Corporate Growth Paths". It also offers practical insights for corporate resource allocation and industry policy formulation. Lin Yi-Chieh

This study aims to investigate the influence of hearing parents' parenting styles on the self-esteem of their deaf or hard-of-hearing (DHH) children and to clarify the moderating role of cultural identity in this relationship. The participants consisted of 58 prelingually DHH individuals (aged 18–30) with hearing parents. Research instruments included the Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI), the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), and the Deaf Identity Development Scale (DIDS). Data were collected through online surveys with a 97% valid response rate and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The results are as follows:
    1. Parenting Styles: Overall, scores for hearing paternal and maternal care were in the upper-middle range, while protection scores were in the lower-middle range. Mothers scored higher and more consistently in both dimensions than fathers, whereas paternal protection scores showed greater internal variance. However, according to a median-split classification, the perceived parenting style with the highest proportion in this sample is relatively "low care-high protection," followed by "high care-low protection," whereas "low care-low protection" is the least represented.
    2. Self-Esteem and Cultural Identity: Participants reported above-average levels of self-esteem. Regarding cultural identity, "bicultural identity" yielded the highest scores and proportion, reflecting the cross-cultural integration capabilities of contemporary DHH youth.
    3. Correlational Analysis: Parental care was significantly and positively correlated with self-esteem, whereas parental overprotection was significantly and negatively correlated with self-esteem.
    4. Moderating Effect: Bicultural identity significantly moderated the relationship between paternal care and self-esteem. This suggests that paternal care has a stronger positive enhancing effect on self-esteem when DHH children possess a high level of bicultural identity.
Based on these findings, this study provides practical recommendations for hearing parents, professionals, and future researchers to support the psychological development of DHH individuals.
