在抽樣調查方面，經濟學家和社會科學家常採用經由０或１的特微函數，來指定集

合體中個體的隸屬度(membership)。然而，若此集合中元素的隸屬度是模糊的，即

非完全屬於此集合又非完全不屬於此集合，此時二分法的邏輯觀念可能會扭曲事件

本身的內涵與意義。因此探討快速變遷的臺灣社會中如（ｉ）足夠的生活成本（ｉ

ｉ）男性與女性教育年限這兩個概念的需求值，以及（ｉｉｉ）二專生寂寞感受程

度的評量問題為例，引用模糊集合的隸屬度函數與模糊統計量的觀念，我們發現以

下兩點結論：

（ｉ）模糊理論的應用，不需要所有個體反應值皆為常態分佈的一般性假設。

（ｉｉ）應用模糊統計分析，在社會、經濟和行為科學領域上，較傳統的測度方法

能得到更妥切的解釋。
