本篇文章在探討民營化過程中，本國部分公營廠商與本國民營廠商廠商技術選擇的問題。

本文分為兩大部分探討，首先討論：本國部分公營廠商對本國民營廠商的成本有少許的控制能力且兩家廠商同時在最終產品市場中做數量競爭的模型。接著，我們再將模型擴大，我們假設本國部分公營廠商可出租設備給予民營廠商，且兩家廠商在產品市場中做數量競爭的模型。由於模型設定的不同，其結果也有些差異，前者的結果為：隨著民營化程度的增加，本國部分公營廠商選擇較差的生產技術；本國民營廠商選擇較佳的生產技術。後者的結果為：隨著民營化程度的增加，兩家廠商皆會選擇較差的生產技術。綜合上述結果，我們得知：政府應該開放上游原料的市場，增加市場的競爭力，提供廠商在最終產品市場一公平的競爭環境。
