論文提要內容：

　　自十九世紀下半葉開始，婦女運動大致可分成女權主義的和馬克思主義的婦女運動。迄一九一七年十月，布爾什維克黨革命成功，在俄國建立了第一個共黨政權，共黨理論中關於婦女解放的部份，也第一次在人類社會進行實驗。在俄國婦女解放後近七十年的今天，其所處地位如何，即為本論文所要探討的問題。

　　國內有關這一問題的資料不多，俄文的亦多半限於官方的統計數字，因此資料主要是以英文、中文為主，而中文的也是一些翻譯的書籍，再以統計資料來分析蘇聯婦女所處之地位，期能從理論到實際來探究這一問題。

　　本論文之內容大致如下：

　　首章為導論，就「地位」的定義、婦女地位的改變及研究主題作敘述。

　　第二章談俄國婦女解放的理論與策略。先述俄國婦女問題提出的背景及其影響，次述馬克思主義的婦女解放理論，再論俄國本身對婦女解放的看法及策略。

　　第三章則將革命後的俄國分為三個時期──革命後十年、斯大林時期及斯大林以後時期，來看其婦女政策的演變情形。

　　第四章再就蘇聯官方的統計數字，看其婦女在教育、經濟、政治及家庭四個方面所處實際地位及扮演的角色為何。

　　第五章為結論，從理論與實際的觀點對蘇聯婦女所處地位作一評估。

　　由本論文的研究結果可知，今天蘇聯婦女的地位可謂相當特殊，比革命前當然有很大的進步，但沒有像官方所說的被解放了，也沒有與男性處於完全平等的地位。她們肩負著家務及工作的「雙重負擔」，由此產生了更多的社會問題，像家庭破碎、出生率低、青少年犯罪等，這都是始料所未及的，不僅犧牲了婦女，社會也付出了相當的代價。因蘇聯婦女平權的問題牽涉很廣，難於短期內實現，在可見的未來，恐怕蘇聯婦女仍要承受著「雙重負擔」。
