本研究旨在探討台灣輔具租賃市場之發展現況與創新服務模式，並以 P 公司租賃服務為個案，分析其在高齡化社會、長照政策推動及使用者需求轉變下的輔具租賃市場開發策略。本研究採用個案研究法，並結合 SWOT 分析與波特五力分析，探討 P 公司在輔具租賃市場中的營運模式、創新服務及競爭條件。研究發現，P 公司之核心優勢在於長期投入無障礙生活與輔具服務，能從使用者生活情境出發，提供輔具租賃、產品諮詢、維修檢修、清潔消毒、配送服務與無障礙生活支持等整合性服務。該公司並透過承接日本輔具租賃品牌資源、建立跨縣市加盟門市、發展線上租賃系統，以及推出甲租乙還、飯店配送、租金折抵購買等服務，逐步由傳統醫材銷售模式轉型為平台化、服務化與數位化的輔具租賃業者。
然而，研究亦發現，P 公司及台灣輔具租賃產業仍面臨設備建置成本高、清潔消毒與維修標準尚待制度化、加盟門市服務品質一致性不易維持、民眾對二手或租賃輔具仍有衛生疑慮，以及同業低價競爭與政策變動等挑戰。綜合研究結果，本研究建議 P 公司應持續強化租賃輔具標準化管理制度、建立設備履歷、提升加盟門市教育訓練、導入 AI 客服與知識庫、深化先租後買服務，並拓展旅遊輔具及亞洲輔具租賃聯盟市場。對整體產業而言，未來應朝向租購分流、第三方清消認證、資訊透明化及專業評估制度發展，以提升輔具租賃服務品質與民眾信任，進一步建構更具彈性、永續與使用者導向的輔具服務體系。

This study explores the market development and service innovation of assistive device rental services in Taiwan, using P Company as a case study. This study adopts the case study method and applies SWOT analysis and Porter’s Five Forces analysis to examine P Company’s business model, service innovation, and competitive position in Taiwan’s assistive device rental market. The findings show that P Company’s core strengths lie in its long-term engagement in accessible living and assistive device services. Rather than simply renting out equipment, the company provides integrated services based on users’ real-life contexts, including rental consultation, product selection, maintenance, cleaning and disinfection, delivery, and accessibility support. By integrating Japanese assistive device rental resources, developing a cross-city franchise network, building an online rental system, and offering innovative services such as one-way rental return, hotel delivery, and rent-to-purchase credit, P Company has gradually transformed from a traditional medical equipment retailer into a platform-based, service-oriented, and digitally managed rental provider.
However, the study also finds that P Company and Taiwan’s assistive device rental industry still face several challenges, including high equipment investment costs, the need for standardized cleaning and maintenance procedures, inconsistent service quality among franchise stores, public concerns about hygiene and second-hand equipment, low-price competition, and potential policy changes. Based on the findings, this study suggests that P Company should strengthen standardized rental equipment management, establish equipment usage records, enhance franchise training, introduce AI-based customer service and knowledge management, expand rent-to-purchase programs, and further develop travel-related assistive device rental services and an Asian assistive device rental alliance. For the overall industry, future development should focus on clearer rental-purchase classification, third-party certification for cleaning and disinfection, greater price and service transparency, and professional assessment mechanisms. These measures would help improve service quality, increase public trust, and build a more flexible, sustainable, and user-centered assistive device service system.
