Being designed and planned by an IMBA student who is working in oil company and has a great interest in oil trading business, this Business Plan was made with the confidence that Vietnam has great potential as a new bunkering market.
This business model may seem simple. An oil company will lease oil tanks, import oil from abroad in Bulk size and sell it to ships in a smaller size.
But, oil market is more complicated than we thought. In addition, the Vietnamese oil market is yet to be fully opened, and there is a very strong competitor who is wholly owned by the Vietnamese central government, cover all the operations from oil and gas exploration and production to storage, processing, transportation, distribution and services in Vietnam and overseas as well.
By utilizing the competitive edge of a company and the geographical advantage of Vietnam, I will create a new business model
The business plan is made on the basis of Five (5) years period, emphasizing the company and market analysis, and the business plan including price strategy, selecting an optimal port, customer Targeting, marketing plan, operation plan and financial plan
