  • 本研究之目的,為深入瞭解國內閱聽大眾,試圖在閱聽人生態、人口學變項與大眾傳播媒介使用習慣之間,尋找出一中介變項―生活方式。
    本研究以台北市大安區居住戶為研究對象,依分組抽樣和間隔抽樣方法,計抽得樣本一百三十四戶,以問卷調查法訪問樣本戶的家長或主婦。指涉的大眾媒介包括電視、廣告、報紙、雜誌和書籍五種。
    資料分析過程,以百分率、平均數和標準差說明樣本的生態人口學變項、生活方式和使用五種大眾傳播媒介習慣的分佈型態。以變異數分析和簡單相關分析方法,解釋此三者相互的差異程度與關聯性。並將五種大眾傳播媒介分為電子媒介和印刷媒介,分析閱聽人的生活方式與其消費、電子媒介、印刷媒介和五種傳播媒介總時數的關聯性。
    研究發現:
    一、閱聽人在家的時數與其使用大眾傳播媒介的時間,有正相關性,尤其是電子媒介為然。
    二、閱聽人的社會參與程度與其使用印刷媒介有正相關性。
    三、閱聽人的親身傳播程度,與其使用印刷媒介亦有正相關性。
    四、閱聽人的「迷惘感」(anomia)程度與其使用電子媒介有正相關,尤以電視為然。
