本研究從觀察到近年來個人電腦市場上的顯示卡在價格出現異常上漲以及缺貨的現象，並且在市場上出現二手顯示卡的價格不跌反升的現象，還產生了一種新的零售模式，通路商要求購買顯示卡必需搭機銷售，因此想瞭解顯示卡在個人電腦市場上是否有出現供給與需求失衡情況，並且找出造成市場上顯示卡供給與需求異常的原因。
分析上依顯示卡市場的供給方與需求方研究，並且經由訪談幾位有使用顯示卡的用戶來瞭解顯示卡市場上所發生的狀況，並通過網路聲量分析來確認網路上民眾對顯示卡缺貨的普遍想法與認知，分析的結果發現顯示卡的供給與需求失衡現象是因為顯示卡的需求量大增，並導致近年來的顯示卡價格大漲以及缺貨現象，其中以加密貨幣挖礦的需求最為旺盛，礦工在評估能在加密貨幣挖礦獲利的情況下大量買入顯示卡，使得顯示卡價格上漲並且供不應求，此外近年來的疫情關係所衍生的居家工作及遠距線上學習，也使得民眾在家玩電競遊戲的需求提高，也相對提升顯示卡的需求；雖然在供給端也有因為疫情關係而產生的晶片荒現象，但整體來說並沒有對顯示卡供給端造成太大的影響。
This study has observed that in recent years, the prices of graphics cards in the personal computer market have risen abnormally and were out of stock, and the prices of second-hand graphics cards have risen instead of falling in the market. And a new retail model has emerged, the distributors require that the purchase of graphics cards must be purchased with other computer items. Therefore, I want to know whether there is an imbalance between the supply and demand of graphics cards in the personal computer market and find out the reasons for the abnormal supply and demand of graphics cards in the market.
The analysis is based on the research on the supply side and the demand side of the graphics card market, and through interviews with several users who use computer graphics card to understand the situation in the graphics card market, and through network volume analysis to check the general idea and cognition of the people on the Internet about the shortage of graphics cards. The results of the analysis found that the imbalance between the supply and demand of graphics card was due to the large increase in the demand for graphics card, and lead to the price of graphics card soaring in recent years and the phenomenon of out of stock. Among them, the demand for cryptocurrency mining is the strongest. Miners buy graphics cards in large quantities under the condition that they can make profits from cryptocurrency mining, which made the price of graphics card has risen and demand is in short supply. In addition, working from home and remote online learning arising from the COVID-19 pandemic in recent years have also increased the demand for people to play e-sports games at home, and relatively increased the demand for graphics card; Although there is also a shortage of chips on the supply side due to the COVID-19 pandemic, overall, it did not have much impact on the supply side of graphics cards.
