2018 年開始，川普政府對中國啟動⼀連串的貿易戰。作為中美雙⽅重要的貿易夥伴，台灣亦可能受到貿易戰的衝擊。關於貿易戰對雙⽅和對台灣的可能衝擊，⽂獻中對於以下的四點有正反不⼀的看法：貿易戰對可能中美之中的⼀⽅帶來更⼤的經濟損害、可能對第三國（包括台灣）造成衝擊、可能升⾼到科技戰、可能對台灣的供應鏈造成影響。本⽂分析台灣最⼤的個⼈電腦原廠委託設計代⼯企業「廣達電腦」公司的個案，並且發現廣達公司透過⽣產及全球佈局、產品發展、營運優化、市場營銷等四種策略，成功地⼤幅減緩中美貿易戰對於該公司帶來的負⾯衝擊。本⽂的發現對於中美競爭的發展與兩岸關係也具有重要的政策意涵。

Since 2018, the Trump administration has imposed a series of tariffs and trade barriers on China. As a vital trading partner of China and the US, Taiwan may be affected by the trade war. There are different opinions regarding the possible implications of the conflict on the US, China, and Taiwan. Literature includes four contrasting arguments: the trade war may cause more significant economic damage to the US or China, may hit a third country (including Taiwan), may escalate into a tech war, and may impact Taiwan’s supply chain. This thesis investigates the case of Taiwan’s leading Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) of notebook PC－Quanta. The corporation implemented four strategies: production and global layout strategy, product development strategy, operational performance strategy, and market strategy, successfully mitigating the negative impact of the US-China trade war on its business ventures. The findings of this thesis have substantial policy implications for the development of US-China competition and cross-strait relations.
