In our quickly changing information age, people are bombarded with messages from a variety of sources, resulting to the adoption of both correct and erroneous information. This phenomenon could also be seen in the realm of drones and drone-based systems, a relatively new technology that has yet to be fully adopted by the general population, and which is filled with a lot of misinformation regarding safety and privacy issues. Misinformation about drones transmitted through social media, traditional news outlets, and other channels can lead to misconceptions and inhibit adoption of the technology.
This essay aims to investigate strategy to address misconceptions about drone technology and promote a more informed public perception through drone-based system. The study's findings may serve as a foundation for future efforts to bridge the gap between emerging drone-based technology and public awareness of drones, resulting in a more informed and welcoming society for drone-based systems.
