為瞭解背景變項、親子（父子、母子）溝通品質與青少年行為表現（行為困擾、身心健康、偏差行為）的關係，以台北市國中學生643人為研究對象，採用個人基本資料及家庭社經地位調查表、親子溝通量表、行為困擾量表、身心健康量表、偏差行為量表等研究工具，獲得所需資料，再以平均數差異T考驗、單因子變異數分析、Pearson積差相關、二因子多變量變異數分析、多元逐步迴歸分析等統計方法進行分析。結果發現：

1. 青少年所知覺的母子溝通品質顯著高於父子溝通品質。

2. 女生自覺的母子溝通品質顯著高於男生。

3. 老大自覺的親子（父子、母子）溝通品質顯著高於中間子女。

4. 國一、國二學生自覺的親子溝通品質顯著高於國三學生。

5. 父母婚姻和諧的青少年，自覺的親子溝通品質顯著高於父母婚姻不和諧者。

6. 父親教育程度為國、高中畢業及大專以上的青少年，自覺的父子溝通品質顯著高於父親為小學以下程度者。

7. 家庭社經中等及中上地位的青少年，自覺的父子溝通品質顯著高於社經地位中下者。

8. 親子（父子、母子）溝通品質愈高，青少年的行為困擾愈少。

9. 親子（父子、母子）溝通品質愈高，青少年的身心健康愈好。

10. 親子（父子、母子）溝通品質愈高，青少年的偏差行為愈少。

11. 性別及母子溝通品質，會交互影響青少年的「學校生活困擾」與「人際關係困擾」。

12. 性別及父子溝通的品質，會交互影響青少年的「焦慮失眠」與「憂鬱」表現。

13. 家庭社經地位及母子溝通品質，會交互影響青少年的整體行為困擾。

14. 背景變項及親子溝通品質，能有效預測青少年的行為困擾，預測力為20.7%。

15. 背景變項及親子溝通品質，能有效預測青少年的身心健康，預測力為12.7%。

16. 背景變項及親子溝通品質，能有效預測青少年的偏差行為，預測力為12.7%。
